Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. His television career began with roles, including Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. His fame was boosted by his character as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics character in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was featured in a variety of films that adapted graphic novels and comics, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The character of Steve Rogers/Captain America is in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame 2019, brought him more recognition.
